Casting

To carry the uplifting, nostalgic theme of youth and relationships, it was important to have both my actors for the narrative at a young age. It was also idea if they were, offscreen, in a relationship as it made for a more convincing display and could show a genuine emotion towards each other in the final seconds of the music video where they are both in shot together.

After failing to match two friends that would do this, I asked friends Bethany Thompson & Ellis Morgan as these were a couple in real life and I had a good rapport with both of them; this made filming easier than if i didn't know the actors, as they would understand what I wanted them to do.

As they both attended my Sixth form, it made organising a day for filming quick to do as I could see them at very short notice.
